About Jill

Hello, and welcome to my website! I am glad you are here as seeking support is a strength and a great first step. My name is Jill Gunderson and I am a licensed clinical therapist who provides therapy in a supportive and compassionate style.

Specialties

I work with those who are experiencing grief whether it be from losing a loved one or adjusting to a life change. Within grief therapy, you will be given a safe and compassionate space to process and begin the steps of healing by identifying your skills and supports. A loss or change is very difficult, but you do not have to go through this hardship alone.

I also work with those who are experiencing the difficult symptoms of anxiety and depression. We will work to identify the cause and work on coping skills while building on your strengths. Some of the stressors that are commonly discovered are related to relationship issues, self-esteem, caregiver burnout, communication issues, trauma, boundary setting, PTSD, and life changes. I will walk along side you as you increase your coping skills while building on your supports.

I also hold space for those who are struggling with chronic health issues. Having chronic pain or health diagnosis’s can be very overwhelming. We will explore strategies to better manage the mental and physical toll this can take. I will walk along side of you as we work to build your community and reduce feelings of isolation.
